Great news. An amazing 143 objections look to have had a significant effect. Many thanks to all who put one in and the overwhelming support. Against the odds the Planning Application Committee, unanimously asked for a Hearing and Site Visit. That was even after a supportive presentation of the proposal for flats and recommendation to accept to application by NRS.
Now two of us will get a three minute slot to challenge the proposals and show that a green, open, public space will be better for all and Glasow, for this valuable publicly owned plot. It will be our first formal opportunity to do so, to Councillors, after four years and site ownership by City Property.

OUR VISION
To create a Park in the Merchant City district of Glasgow by converting what is currently a Car Park with twenty mature trees and a world famous mural into a green space for the benefit of the Community and visitors alike.
